3D Total Movie Mashup Contest!
Movie Mashup Challenge - Top 10 best win prizes!!
Deadline - 15th July 2010 - GMT 23:59:59 (the last second!)
This time we are returning to the unified challenge again with all 5 streams coming into 1 to give the moderators and organizers a bit of a breather, and also to mix things up a bit and as always, to have fun. You are required to make an image in either 3d or 2d or a mix combining elements from 2 of your favorites feature films - hence: "Movie Mashup"
Your final image can be of an actual scene from the movie or just a character or an object or a mix but the subjects must all be from 1 movie and the style must from another. Confused!? Well there are some examples below:
The requirements are very simple, make a final rendered image in any digital medium under the title of 'Movie Mashup'. We want a final render of upto 1280 on either axis in either 2d, 3d or a mix. You can incorporate photos as long as you make it clear where they are used (see next point)
At least 1 additional image must also be submitted showing the workings of your image, for example, a wire frame, steps of a 2d painting, or the photos of a matte painting. You must try to make it clear to the judges how your image was created, but it is up to you exactly what you submit.
